Leak Check does not mean water testing alone.

A more effective quality-control sequence is therefore to remove obvious assembly problems first and then carry out the appropriate functional and sealing verification.
Testing does not replace production control.
It confirms whether the preceding manufacturing and assembly processes have produced the intended result.
The Same Leakage Symptom Can Have Different Causes
If leakage is found before shipment, simply recording “Leak” provides limited information.
The same symptom can result from seal assembly, cartridge or control components, threaded connections, hose fittings or other mating areas.
The value of inspection is therefore not only to separate nonconforming products.
It should also help identify where the problem is concentrated.
If the same location repeatedly shows problems within one production batch, the corresponding component, connection relationship or assembly process should be investigated rather than simply repeating water tests on finished products.
For bulk procurement, this also means that evaluating leak-prevention quality control should go beyond asking whether the supplier performs water testing.
More useful questions are:
Which areas are covered by the inspection?
Under which operating conditions are they checked?
When a problem occurs, can the cause be distinguished between sealing, connection, control components and final assembly?
In this way, pre-shipment inspection addresses more than:
“Does this individual faucet leak?”
It also helps answer:
“Is the same manufacturing risk appearing repeatedly across this production batch?”
Pre-Shipment Inspection Should Stop Problems That Become Harder to Solve in the Market
For a Leak-proof garden tap or Bibcock, the process becomes much more complicated once a sealing problem is discovered after the product has already entered inventory or been installed.
Pre-shipment quality control should therefore prioritize problems that can still be clearly identified at the production stage but become significantly more expensive to handle after the product enters the market.
Leakage is one of the most typical examples.
Leak Proof is not simply a description printed on the packaging.
It is the combined result of the faucet body, seals, connections, control components and assembly.
The purpose of pre-shipment inspection is to expose as many of these problems as possible before the product leaves the factory.
